Quinoa Upma can be had as a breakfast meal or as a healthy evening snack. The choice is yours, just replace the rawa suji with the healthy quinoa and you are all set.
This is how you make it:
· Rinse the quinoa well and drain excess water
· Heat up a little bit of oil in the pan, add mustard, urad dal, cumin and sauté for a bit.
· Chop some seasonal veggies, add it into the pan and keep frying for at least 5 minutes.
· Pour some water and add salt according to your taste.
· Add the drained quinoa into the pan.
· Cook on medium flame, till the quinoa turns transparent and keep stirring till it soaks up the whole amount of water.
